How to arrive in Castellón
You have three main options:
How to leave from Alicante
You can leave directly from Alicante Airport or go to another city by train and leave from another airport.
By plane : Alicante is one of the preferred destinations of tourists around Europe so all low cost airlines and regular flights are available (RyanAir, EasyJet, Vueling, Iberia, Spanair, Airberlin, Transavia, Air Nostrum, ClickAir, AerLingus, ThomsonFly, British Airways, TUIfly, Air Auropa, Luxair, etc.). Official website of the Airport: click here.
By train: high speed trains are available to all major cities. Official spanish trains company is RENFE: click here. This prices are from/to Alicante.
- Madrid: high speed 39,40€ (4h)
- Valencia: high speed 22€ (1h 30 min), regional 12,25€ (2h)
- Barcelona: high speed 48,70€ (4h 45 min), we recommend going by plane with ClickAir (around 30€, only 50 mins.)
- Murcia: high speed 15,20€ (1h 15 min), regional 5,80€ (1h 15 min); no time difference, we recommend regional service.
[All these cities have an airport].
By bus: you can find all routes to and from alicante in this website: ALSA. (instead we recommend train, is usually faster, cheaper and more comfortable).
By road: it would be very unusual but if you come by car, Alicante is connected to the rest of Spain and Europe with the highway number AP7 (E-15).
